The year is 1928. A young woman in search of excitement stumbles upon a peculiar restaurant owned by some not-so-friendly individuals. A spark strikes between her and a high-spirited yet impish waiter as hijinks mixed with ridiculous cartoon logic soon follow. Surely this duo won’t get into too much mischief… right? RIGHT?!
This comedy/slice-of-life webcomic takes inspiration from cartoons of the American golden age of animation in both art style, humor, and more mature aspects of storytelling. Comic pages follow an overarching plot with occasional contained gags sprinkled in. It’s a nostalgic comedy encompassing numerous cultural aspects of the author’s favorite period in American history.
